John and Amanda Wilcox

John was born and raised in Rockford, MI. After graduating with a B.A. in Theological Studies from Kent Christian College, he went to Houston, Texas as a substitute school teacher and basketball coach. After coaching the team to a state championship, his heart turned toward youth ministry. So he moved to Shreveport, LA to become a youth pastor and attend Louisiana State University. After 3 years, he felt God moving him back home to Michigan. So John came back, completed his business degree at Cornerstone University and started attending Resurrection Life Church in 1997.  Recently God started using John’s experiences and education to minister to young adults. This has resulted in Impact.
